Destination wedding in Portugal

Portugal, a country that stands out for its cultural richness and distinct character.
Here we highlight the city of Porto, with its streets paved with Azulejos, the typical blue tiles, and the Rabelo boats gliding under the Dom Luís Bridge. This bridge, emblematic of Portugal, was designed by Mr. Eiffel, giving it a subtle touch of Parisian elegance, with a nod to the emblematic structure of the Eiffel Tower. The region also offers us incredible views of the vineyards along the Douro River.

.

Our couple strolled through the streets of Porto, made their way to this incredible bridge and then exchanged vows amidst the vineyards of Quinta do Outeiro. This meticulously restored 17th-century wedding estate in the heart of the Douro Valley, offering a picturesque backdrop and a subtle ode to the country.

.

The decor was composed of a carefully chosen color palette: blue symbolizes water and sky, but also the blue tiles of Portugal. Yellow represents the warmth of a summer’s day, the brightness of the sun and the hues of the venue’s facades. Coral adds vibrancy and energy to the overall design, as a reminder of all the emotions one feels on a wedding day.

This shoot combines the cultural richness, architectural elegance and natural beauty of Portugal for couples who dream of an intimate yet grand European celebration.
