By your side for this big day
I am a wedding photographer in Provence, South of France. Provence is one of the dreamiest destinations in France for a destination wedding. Located between Marseille and Avignon, this is a place close to my heart, and I am sure it will become one for you too if you’re planning to get married here!
Lavender fields, olive trees, vineyards, hilltop villages with old stones, delicious french food and world-class wine, sunny days with a golden, dreamy light you’ll find nowhere else.
Provence is a true source of inspiration for any couple who want to experience the French charm par excellence! It’s one of the most romantic places in France and a perfect location for saying I do.

My approach and style
timeless photographs
With a light and airy photographic style, and soft colors, I seek for both candid and more posed moments. My photographs are elegant and timeless. You will still enjoy them when turning your album photos pages with your grandkids. “Look how grandpa and grandma were beautiful for their wedding! I remember it like it was yesterday!”
Discretion
When photographing your wedding, I stay as discreet as possible to photograph authentic and true moments with your family and friends. But when it comes to your couples photos, I also know how to guide you and make you feel more comfortable. I know how this exercise can be stressful for some people, but I’m here to make everything smoother, and you’ll enjoy it!
I also accord a lot of importance to capturing any details of your wedding day, your venue, your decoration, flowers, accessories. All these small details make this day so big!
Implicated
To leave you an unforgettable memory, we will plan together, or with your wedding planner, some aspects of your wedding day. I will ask you questions to know you better and to build a relationship of trust, which is important for your photo result. This is the key to immortalize with quality and in the smallest details your story, capture your looks, smiles, happiness and emotions.

TOP 12 BEST VENUES FOR A WEDDING IN PROVENCE
Best venues for a destination wedding you will remember
You will find in Provence some of the best luxurious wedding venues in France. From mas or bastide to castles and luxury hotels, you will find what suits you the best. Most of the venus are located in the Luberon and Alpilles which are popular for their landscapes and hills. Do you prefer the charm of a traditional country house or a beautiful and romantic outdoor wedding with a view to live one of the most important moments of your life?
If you want to enjoy the lavender fields, I highly recommend choosing a venue located in the Valensole region, the Luberon or the Sault plateau. They will delight you with stunning fields and wonderful small villages. France is the world’s third-largest producer of lavender with a 559-mile-long Lavender Route that passes directly through Provence.
To help you have an idea of what awaits you, here is a selection of 12 perfect wedding venues for your destination wedding in Provence :
- Bastide de Gordes, Gordes
- Château de Tourreau, Sarrians
- Château de Grimaldi, Aix en Provence
- Bastide de Toursainte, Marseille
- Mas de la Rose, Cavaillon
- Domaines de Patras, Nyons
- Château Berne, Draguignan
- Hôtel Crillon le Brave, Carpentras
- Château de Valmousse, Aix en Provence
- Andéols, Saint-Saturnin-lès-Apt
- Domaine les Roullets, Cavaillon
- Mas Gaïa, Avignon
From this list, choose your favorite venues, and then visit the area in advance. I recommend booking a trip in France and have a tour venues in the Drôme, Ardèche, Gard, Vaucluse and Bouches du Rhône. Ideally, you should see your venue at least once or twice before booking. Take the opportunity to taste some food and cake from their chef, enjoy the French gastronomy, get comfortable with the area and get excited for your big day! It may also be the perfect opportunity to have your engagement session with your wedding photographer.
What's the best time of the year to get married in Provence?
Since Provence is known for its spectacular views and its nature, most couples choose to have an outdoor wedding in order to fully enjoy the backdrop.
If you want to see the lavender fields in bloom, the best time to visit is by mid-June to mid-July before they are harvested.
The best weather is usually from the end of June to mid-September. One big advantage of getting married in the summer is that the sun sets pretty late around 9 or 10 pm. You can have an outside dinner al fresco, enjoy a warm evening and the concerto of the birds and the cicadas, and even start partying before the night. But be mindful as it can get really hot in the summer. So when choosing your venue, make sure it has enough shade for your ceremony and cocktail, or has a pool to chill.
The climate is mild all year round, so even if you prefer to plan your wedding in spring or fall, it will also be perfect!
What to do in Provence, France ?
To take advantage of your destination wedding in France, the best is to have a multi-day celebration. You can hold a welcome dinner and a day-after brunch to make your wedding celebration lasts the whole weekend. And then plan activities for the rest of the week.
Here are some activities you can have to visit the Provence region:
- Admire and smell the Lavender fields. You even can taste some lavender products like ice creams and drinks! (Valensole, Luberon, Sault…)
- Get lost in the paved streets of Gordes or Les Baux-de-Provence which are quaint uphill villages.
- Visit the art center Carrières des Lumières
- Roam and find local products on the market (L’isle sur la Sorgue, Saint Rémy de Provence…)
- Have a swim in the Calanques (Marseille)
- Chill anywhere, in a flower field, in the olive trees, in a river or in the Mediterranean sea
- Go down in the Gorges du Verdon (Moustier Ste Marie…)
- Have a horse tour in the Camargues and admire some local bird species
- Taste delicious wine (Rasteau, Cairanne…)
